If you install Shorewall-perl under Shorewall 3.9.2 or later, you can override the SHOREWALL_SHELL setting using the '-C' command-specific run-line option.
'-C shell' means use the shell compiler '-C perl' means use the perl compiler Example: shorewall restart -C perl The '-C' option is allowed on any command that invokes the compiler.
