I'm currently working with Fabio on IRC. I pointed him to http://www.shorewall.net/SimpleBridge.html and the two-interface quickstart guide. The key piece of information missing from his post is that he is bridging his local LAN and modem so he can access the web server built into the modem at 192.168.1.1 and that his 'net' interface is ppp0 (PPPoE). So a simple two-interface configuration with the bridge as the internal interface (with routeback) should work fine. -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool Shoreline, \ http://shorewall.net Washington USA \ [EMAIL PROTECTED] PGP Public Key \ https://lists.shorewall.net/teastep.pgp.key
