According to the version.txt file you sent, the version is 1.4.8.

Unfortunately, Shorewall versions as old as yours didn't support the
'dump' command. You clearly didn't look at the output since there's
nothing there but a syntax summary.

If Squid is still working, then check the setting of IP_FORWARDING in
shorewall.conf. It should be set to 'On'
