So if I followed the thread correctly, you are 'hand-building' perl
5.10.0 on these boxes, but leaving the 5.8.8 that CentOS ships with on
there as well?

My guess is that by removing that particular Errno.pm, the proper one
from whichever perl you wind up running shorewall under gets used, and
you don't have build/arch differences between those files.
