Its been a while now I keep sending email to this lovely mailing-list
Big thanks to Shorewall Geek and Roberto who slap me right on my face....
Anyhow, another stupid question here
Shorewall installed with dnsmasq
I have put this line on my dnsmasq.conf
address=/debian/192.168.168.1
address=/linksys/192.168.168.2
address=/hedges/192.168.168.3
address=/windoz/192.168.168.4
Strangely enough, if I run command ping debian from my windoz, it resulting
Ping request could not find host debian. Please check the name and try again.
Off course I would like debian to host-name resolving from all hosts I had
I also put lines on /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.168.1debian
192.168.168.2 linksys
192.168.168.3 hedges
192.168.168.4windoz
Is there any way I can use shorewall feature to solve this problem?
is dnsmasq is not enough to doing this apart installing BIND?
