The PPP link, not yet shown, will connect to Dalton.  
Let's say the Dalton end of the PPP link is 
172.24.2.1 and the connected machine is 172.24.2.2.

Currently Dalton masqes Cantor as described in 
http://carnot.yi.org/NetworkPage.html .  The PPP 
connected machine should be masqed as well.  
Addresses above.  172.24.1.0/24 and 172.24.2.0/24 
are two subnets in the loc zone.  I hope that 
answers your point.

The dialed-in system should have Internet access, 
same as Cantor.
