Two things: a) If your system is the PPTP client, then put 0.0.0.0/0 in the GATEWAY column of your tunnels file entry (and see http://www.shorewall.net/configuration_file_basics.htm#dnsnames for a strong admonition against using DNS names in your Shorewall configuration files). b) See http://www.shorewall.net/PPTP.htm#ClientFW for detailed instructions for configuring a PPtP client on your firewall. -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather who Shoreline, \ died peacefully in his sleep.
