Hello everyone,
I was wondering what is the recommended way to define a foreign host. From
reading the documentation, the hosts file isn't for that purpose.
I would like to define hosts on a name basis (for easier reading in the
rules file).
For instance instead of defining:
ACCEPT:info $FW
wan0:91.198.22.70,91.198.22.71,204.13.248.70,208.78.69.70 tcp 8245
Something like this:
ACCEPT:info $FW wan0:checkip_dyndns tcp 8245
While defining checkip_dyndns somewhere separately.
Is there any way to do this, or am I just being stupid? (or used to vuurmuur
;)
Thanks in advance.
