One thing I will point out is that we don't recommend running a multiple
ISP configuration on any version of Shorewall earlier than 4.2.0 and
then only when using the Perl-based rules compiler (the only compiler
included in Shorewall 4.4.0 and later). There were many problems with
the old code and those problems were going to be very expensive to fix.
That's the reason that I made the decision to stop developing the
shell-based compiler and write the Perl-based one.
