I have a problem with a Verizon Wireless Network Extender not connecting
to the remote end (SYS light stays red). I'm using Archlinux 64bit and
Shorewall 4.5.4-1 from official repo. The microcell will connect when
connected directly to my internet connection. I only have 1 dynamic ip
address so I need to run it through the the firewall. I have tried
opening the ports recommended by Verizon 500, 4500, 53, and 52428 but
still no go. I have also set DHCP to assign an ip to the Network Extender.
I'm not sure what information I should post in order to get help from
the group as all other traffic is working (NAT, web browsing, ssh,
dns...). Please let me know what I should post.
