Hi Filippo.
We are using ubuntu 14.04 and shorewall 4.6 is not available on ubuntu 
repos.
We could add the 'deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian/ stable non-free 
contrib main' repo in /etc/apt/sources.list ....
but... would that be safe? I can imagine we could end up with many packages 
in the system that are not really compatible.

If we install it manually (compiling and all), would the new version replace 
the currently installed one?
