:-) I thought I was turning crazy! Good catch for LOGTAGONLY, this is the
place where I've seen it the first time, I remember now, the context seems
familiar.

Debian derivatives don't count ? :-) Ubuntu Server LTS 14.04 uses kernel
3.13.x which supports SYNPROXY (available since 3.12 if I'm not mistaken).

Shorewall in 14.04 is way outdated so I installed manually to get the
lastest version.
