If only 1% of the companies I dealt with in my career, claiming to provide
"enterprise class" and/or "professional" (most of the time paid) support
could reach at least 1% of your level/quality/reactivity/accuracy/expertise
of support, I'd be an happy IT guy!
On a wider scale, when I see the (huge) difference between FOSS and
"enterprise" software, I'm stunned! How come that big-dollar companies are
just the worst one can get with the most stupid/ridiculous support you can
imagine while (oftenly) one-man/few-men power enthusiasts provide such a
very high quality support by all possible standards? I can't understand
that and I probably never will.
For that, for your work, your commitment, thank you Tom and all the members
of the Shorewall team. Thank you FOSS people for your philosophy!
