On my system I get a file "shorewall-init.log" is that the dump you
referring to? Otherwise most messages get dumped into the
/var/log/messages log file.

I am sure I have some minor statement wrong that's keeping it from running.
The best way to proceed would be to forward the output of 'shorewall
dump', collected as described at
http://www.shorewall.org/support.htm#Guidelines
