This is ethtool output[1] the only difference compared to another server where I don't have these problems while using an ADSL line at 200Mbit/s is: Link partner advertised pause frame use: Symmetric Receive-only On other server this setting is Link partner advertised pause frame use: No On both server the speed value is: Speed: 1000Mb/s > And of course the shorewall box has to be able to process and forward > traffic at gigabit speed.
