This is only from an historical perspective as I wonder why in 2014 systemd was 
seemingly refusing to start shorewall because of lack of support for network 
zones.  As described by a Linux distribution in October 2014 :

"By default, Shorewall is disabled, but if you attempt to enable it using 
systemctl start shorewall, it will fail to start. And the reason systemd gives 
is that Shorewall lacks support for network zones."

Was this the same zones as found in the zones Shorewall configuration file or 
am I missing a concept here ?
