Using r2046; lagged for a bit (not as much though and only greyed out for
1 sec or so) and after about 15-20 sec Shotwell was completely responsive
as usual. I saw some heavy disk I/O also during first 15-20 secs. I say
the fix is good enough for me on this (pretty fast) machine.
