Hello Shotwell Team,

Thank you for this fantastic photo manager for Linux! When I first tried
Shotwell, I was blown away by the simplicity yet power that it provides. I
have been happily using it for several months now and really am looking
forward to future releases.

I shoot photos in RAW + JPEG, so I end up with 2 identically labeled files
for each photo I take (e.g. _IMG_3845.CR2 and _IMG_3845.JPG). I love that
Shotwell can display both RAW and JPEG files, but would it be possible to
have Shotwell display these 2 files as only 1 image? Right now, when I look
at any of my albums, I see 2 of each image. For the purpose of browsing
images in Shotwell, just viewing the JPG makes sense. However, if I want to
do more intense editing on the RAW file I can then open it in an external
editor. What do you think about this idea of collapsing the view of the same
JPG and RAW file together?

Thanks,

Andrew
