Hej Adam, hej Florian and list, I think - like Florian does - then Shotwell shouldn't export any metadata at all. I assume that in most cases there is no need for restoring the original imported metadata (and how would you separate that data from added ones if we get in-file-tags with the next version?) for exporting a file. To keep things simple, the user has just to decide whether he wants to export the whole metadata or nothing at all. I think this would be enough.
