I had some new ideas for the design of Shotwell so I create a mockup of
them. The ideas are not too drastically different and so I hope if they
are well received, that they could be implemented.

thanks for the mockups - they look slick and there are some good ideas here.
We're currently putting the finishing touches on Shotwell 0.8, and then
the Shotwell team will be on vacation for the holidays. We're planning
to begin the design of Shotwell 0.9 during the first week of January.
At that time I think we should consider some of the visual changes
you're suggesting. So we'd like to give you more feedback, but it might
not happen for a couple of weeks. :) Happy solstice and new year -
