Just to let you know, I built this under Archlinux without any issues.
The official package has not yet been updated, but I used the ABS (Arch
Build System) and modified the PKGBUILD very slightly. Actually, all I
needed to do was tell it to grab the 0.9 tarball instead of the 0.8 and
update the MD5SUMS. On Arch, all the libs and the vala appear to be new
enough.
If anyone wants my PKGBUILD I can supply it, otherwise I'm sure the
official one will update shortly.
