Hi Bruno, thanks for the information. I'll take a look at it. For now, having no experience with Vala, I'm slightly in favor of the script approach accessing the database directly. However, the schema seems not really straightforward to me. Especially the photo_id_list in TagTable is a bit surprising. I have expected a separate table capturing the m:n relation between photos and tags. Will need to take a deeper look...
