Dear Lucas, 2011/8/4 Lucas Beeler <[email protected]>
> Hi Shotwell Fans, > > You're receiving this message because you're subscribed to the > Shotwell mailing list or because you kindly provided translation > services for Shotwell during a past release cycle. All of us at Yorba > thank you for your efforts! > > The next major release of Shotwell, 0.11, is due out in the next few > weeks. Shotwell 0.11 packs a boatload of new features that make > organizing your photo collection easier and that improve support for > working with RAW images. For example, Shotwell 0.11 includes a new > faces management tool that lets you designate the faces of friends and > family in your photos. What's more, Shotwell's tags mechanism now > allows you create hierarchical trees of tags by nesting one tag inside > another -- just right-click any tag name in the sidebar and choose > "New" to create a new child tag! For photographers who shoot RAW > photos, Shotwell now treats RAW+JPEG pairs as a single unit and allows > you to use the developments of RAW photos created by your camera if > they're available. > > We think that 0.11 will be among the most feature-packed releases in > Shotwell history -- and we're very excited! For your > convenience, I have attached the new string template files to this message. > as before, I would like to make you some remarks, if you want us to do our job well. What is "developer" in Shotwell context? Also, for the three strings: * is after * is before * is between after/before/between what? Could you please add translator comments in the code, so we see what are you referring to when translating? Also, I don't think adding the pot file to the mail helps much, the rest of the subscribers might not agree with me, in which case I will understand it, otherwise, since we will probably go to transifex, I think is useless to send it. > > Once again, we thank you all for your efforts.
