I've had a problem though: I would like to publish some pictures on Flickr
and my Flickr account is linked to my google account, but I cannot log in

I was wondering if this problem is going to be fixed in future versions of
Shotwell, or if there was already some solution that I've missed.
I've just marked this bug for the upcoming 0.12 release - no promises,
but we'll see what can do. In the meantime, maybe you can use the
workaround suggested by twchambers on the ticket above:

If it makes any difference, I have found that it is possible to sign
in using a google account. Instead of trying to left-click the google
logo, right-click and use 'open link'. You can then sign in and use the
features as intended.
