Hi Josep,

If metadata writing is turned on, then metadata should be written to
your photo files whenever you modify them. So this sounds like a bug.
To help us debug this problem, could you do the following:

(i)
Turn logging on and run Shotwell. You can learn how to run Shotwell
with diagnostic logging turned on in the "I found a bug in Shotwell.
How can I report it?" section of the Shotwell FAQ here:
http://redmine.yorba.org/projects/shotwell/wiki/ShotwellFAQ

(ii)
While running Shotwell with logging turned on, add tags or change the
title of a photo -- this will cause Shotwell to attempt to write
metadata back to the original photo file.

(iii)
Email the log file Shotwell generates to [email protected] along with
a brief description of the problem. You can probably just copy and
paste what you've already written in this message.

Cheers,
Lucas
