I've imported photos to the correct directory, in my case
/Home/me/Pictures, and they show up in my file manager (nautilus) with
the correct dates, such as 2011/12/24 as a directory with the photos in
it. However, Shotwell for some reason refuses to show that specific
event date, 2011/12/24, but other directories with dates are shown for
the same month. I've tried renaming the photos in my file manager and
reimporting and even moving the photos out of the 2011/12/24 directory
into the next previous date, 2011/12/17, but Shotwell still won't import
them either into my library or the correct events directory.
So why doesn't Shotwell see the 12/24 directory and show it in the side
bar? Very strange behavior. I finally was able to import the photos by
moving them to a directory on my desktop but of course I'd rather they
be in the correct directory. Any ideas?
