It's the same for me. The only publishing option is for Piwigo,
there's nothing for Picasa.

thanks for letting us know. Could you each please answer these questions:
- what operating system version are you running?
- How did you get Shotwell 0.12 and 0.12.1? Did you build it yourself
from source, get it from a package from your operating system, or get it
from the Yorba PPA for Ubuntu?
- In Shotwell, go to Edit->Preferences->Plugins. Do you see Picasa
listed there but unchecked? Or is it not even listed?
