Hi Ka-Hing, Shotwell's RAW support is, alas, somewhat broken right now. Your issue sounds like something I've seen before and there may be a work-around. Essentially, Shotwell is trying to use the thumbnail as the "Camera" development. Switching the RAW developer of the affected photos to "Shotwell" may solve the problem.
