Hi Jaakko, Currently, there isn't a way to modify copyright, license or GPS data from within Shotwell itself, although they are read in. Exposing a way to change these is certainly possible; I'll add a ticket for this shortly.
With regard to location, though, if you simply want a human-readable location attached to each photo, the tagging feature may be of use to you. Thank you for using Shotwell!
