Like many other people, I used F-Spot for some years, but eventually I moved to Shotwell, and now I'm overall satisfied.
There is something that annoys me, though. When I used F-Spot, the photos library was stored in the Photos folder. When I started using Shotwell, it offered to import the photos from F-Spot, and I said yes please. All the info was correctly imported, and the photos stayed in the Photos folder. When I started adding new photos to the library, I was surprised to see them in the Images folder! Now I have two folders for the same purpose: each holds part of the same photo library. I would like to move the photos from the Photos folder to the Images folder, but without breaking Shotwell's database, as it currently expects my older photos to be in the Photos folder. How do I accomplish that?
