Thank you for calling this to our attention; it was a factual error
and has been corrected.

This hasn't been tested by us, so I cannot officially recommend it,
although I suspect it might work, especially since GStreamer 0.10 and
1.0 can safely coexist on the same computer.

The current recommendation is for FC17 users to upgrade, if possible;
barring that, it's possible to build GStreamer from source; please see
http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/doc/gstreamer/head/faq/html/chapter-getting.html#getting-gstreamer-source
for details.

We do apologize for the inconvenience caused by the incorrect
instructions that were posted earlier. Thank you again for calling
these to our attention, and if you have any other questions or
comments, please let us know.

Cheers,
-c
