Its my bad, I enabled
require conf/distro/include/preferred-xorg-versions-X11R7.4-updates.inc
in shr.conf

No i need touch screen too as the hardware provides.
Even if i try to remove the  xf86-input-evdev package, its cribbing for some
other packages

I think i got rid of this issue too,
Only thing remaining is
#make image

I have below lines  in shr.conf

ENABLE_BINARY_LOCALE_GENERATION ?= "1"
LOCALE_UTF8_ONLY = "1"

i have below lines in local.conf
GLIBC_GENERATE_LOCALES = "en_US.UTF-8"
ENABLE_BINARY_LOCALE_GENERATION = "1"

Eglibc 2.10 was built. What could be the problem.
