In order to try out new images, 3 things should be standard within every image:
1. /tmp should be a normal directory instead of a link to /var/tmp (which then goes to /var/volatile/tmp) *OR* enlightenment should write its logfile to /var/log instead of /tmp (see below) 2. /var/log should be a normal directory instead of a link to /var/volatile/log (which contents is lost with every reboot) - it's up to the tester to shrink the logfiles if they fill the fs 3. /etc/fstab should have an UNIONFS entry for a rootfs-overlay where the tester has his favorite settings for /etc/ssh /etc/wpa_supplicant /usr/local /home/root and such It shouldn't be so hard to do, except maybe agreeing on a standard devicename for the overlay-fs. _______________________________________________ Shr-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shr-project.org/mailman/listinfo/shr-devel
