Sorry I didn't have time to look at it (hoping someone else will apply
it..).
why don't you allow autotools.bbclass recreate configure and call it
with right params (and you have to patch Makefile.in instead)?
why you call make install manually and even without using ie ${mandir},
${prefix} variables?
