Even after the unsuccessfull dfu-util flash attempts, the FR is still booting
from NAND the 046; so I could just do with the FR:
# mkfs.ext2 /dev/mmcblk0p1
(maybe change as well the partition type from 'b' to 83)
and then mount the ext2fs in FreeBSD to untar the rootfs there?
will qi automagically boot from microSD, even in NAND is bootable?
