Thanks for the pointer to the Fedora-live System, this does what I want, even if one has to play around how to launch a terminal :-)
I run e2fsck and all was fine again; But, I just had to power-off the locked FR again (by pulling out the battery) and the FS remained dirty again and I have had to fix it again with e2fsck of Fedora. I'm wondering why this fsck is not done by SHR on re-boot if the FS is dirty? It just only prints out a line about some missing debug dir and stops booting forever :-( Any ideas matthias -- Sent from my FreeBSD netbook Matthias Apitz, <g...@unixarea.de>, http://www.unixarea.de/ f: +49-170-4527211 UNIX since V7 on PDP-11, UNIX on mainframe since ESER 1055 (IBM /370) UNIX on x86 since SVR4.2 UnixWare 2.1.2, FreeBSD since 2.2.5 _______________________________________________ Shr-devel mailing list Shr-devel@lists.shr-project.org http://lists.shr-project.org/mailman/listinfo/shr-devel
