hi all, I got notice about SHR build server being either migrated somewhere else (just for existing downloads) or discontinued completely, does anyone still care about SHR images?
I'm still building SHR as a OE DISTRO locally (not on this server), but I don't think anyone is still downloading these images. There are still couple GIT repositories hosted there http://git.shr-project.org/git/ which are in some cases mirrored on github.com (as read-only mirrors) https://github.com/shr-distribution but might be discontinued as well. There is also this mailing list and trac which are hosted elsewhere and might continue to be hosted if we ask for it. I'm open for suggestions, but in my opinion we need a lot more than build server to restart this project. We might have a week to decide what to do with it. If agreed, I'll download the latest GIT repositories, stop the sync to github.com, change the github.com to be the primary site instead of read-only mirror (meta-smartphone and linux repositories are the 2 most used repositories because I still update them often for LuneOS project (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LuneOS) and shr-makefile, meta-oe, oe-core and hidden shr-chroot are the other 4 with at least some change in last 12 months. From the apache logs I see many downloads, but in most cases it looks like robots fetching ancient and broken images, not real people checking the most recent (and still ancient) SHR feed or image. The latest staging feed build I did on this server is also from Sep 2015: http://shr-project.org/trac/wiki/StagingTests still based on Yocto 1.4 Dylan from Apr 2013 and nobody downloaded it in Dec 2016 :).
