Regarding SHR being for dev use, I completely agree with mrmoku. If something dev oriented disrupted basic phone functionality, it should be ditched. Regarding anything else, someone who only wants a phone probably shouldn't buy an FR. We need to support not only the basic phone, but the basic cool stuff we can do because we're open and taking advantage of all the Free software out there.
Regarding openssh/dropbear specifically, I do think that the best plan would be to leave both out of SHR-lite and let those users install what they like, and put openssh in the full sized SHR release.
