i really cannot put my finger on it right now and have not enough outdoor time to confirm but it feels like tangogps doesn't really get a fix if started on it own - once gpspipe -r or another app requiring the gps is started it start working though. or is it just me?
possible explanation: my current roaming gsm provider (*)(**) probably doesn't provide timezone data so my time is not correct, therefore gps fix may take longer?
