I dont understand your comment.
Miliestones are very important when you are on the road to the stable
release. Us, users, can have a view of what is going on, and what we can
expect to have in our phone at every step.
We can also appreciate all the work done by the devs!
A milestones in free software development is mainly a content, not a
date. Release it when its ready (and not to comply with the name based
on a year/month ...), but you have to put some stones on this long road
not to get lost (and not to loose you users when the road became tough).
