There is no stable release of SHR yet. You could have an extra uSD card which you test out a build on. If that particular build works good for you, then use it:) I know this is not an answer to your question but even testing is unstable, so my best advice is to always verify that the image you will use works ok for you and be careful with opkg as it may break stuff.
