As usual, I will be a little bit provocative.
Why do we need a user manual ? Does a ephone user read a user manual ?
If you think that we need one, it is because the GUI interface of SHR is
not adapted to the user needs and spontaneous reaction (of course it is
not 100% right, but I said I will be provocative!)

This the user side. Now the installer side:

When you install a linux distro, do you read the installer manual ? No,
everything seems obvious, you just answer simple questions.

Why do you think we need a manual ? It's because the actual GUI is not
finished, and not user oriented (excepted SHR-setting, and it will be
perfect if the "setting profiles" are added).

Writing a manual now is a huge work, and will be obsolete every few
weeks (due to work done by the devs) ....
I think a wiki is the best solution, if new functionality are announced
by the devs on the blog (many improvement are not easy to discover by
ourselves). It is easy to modify, update, erase things.

But I dont want to discourage you if you want to write a manual, I will
even participate :)....
And why not a manual in video format ? Is it possible to dynamically
capture FR screen ?
It is for me the most modern and simplest solution. If not possible,
maybe a slide show.
