I just reflashed latest shr-unstable to check better why opkg fails,
this time I added a 64mb swap file before opkg update/upgrade.
Finally I was able to upgrade (before the process failed a couple of
time after a fresh install).
It is very *slow* and stracing for a bit I got only a lot of:

read(6, "", 4096) = 0
read(6, "", 4096) = 0
read(6, "", 4096) = 0
...

The peak memory usage was 55 MB! how is it possible?

Regards

    Nicola
