Last week I went to a place where the cell towers reported timezone which was off by 1/2 hour. What I did was to setup an empty zonesources in [otimed] section of frameworkd.conf to disable auto-sync using cell tower. Would it make sense to pop a dialog and ask the user if there is a change in timezone. I don't think switching timezones is very frequent...at least not in India...there is a single timezone all throughout. wotsay?
