you can use claws-mail quite well but need to configure it properly. i don't really use the small screen layout (but it would help a bit too), but i rather mainly change the toolbars: configure->preferences->toolbars->main window remove unnecessary icons to fit buttons on the screen and leave mainly: get mail, write mail and add new items: open message, cancel receiving, next message This will allow you (besides other things) to finger open new email in new window http://scap.linuxtogo.org/files/6f2a666218e1e2ef975e8e0e41bf6f8a.png Also change toolbar->message window: remove what you can again and leave reply then add next message After this, you will be able to move onto next new message finger friendly again. http://scap.linuxtogo.org/files/a4793792275274a49bb6c9ad8aaec18f.png in view ->set display columns ->folder list remove all message counters and leave only Folder column. if you wish to see the unread/total counters anyways, go to configure->preferences->Display->summaries and choose the first item on the page_ display message number next to folder name. this will compress the message view nicely. petr _______________________________________________ Shr-User mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shr-project.org/mailman/listinfo/shr-user
