i haven't looked into the code.
e (on my dekstop) lets you enable and disable filemanager so you can use 
other desktops (i use xfdesktop).
if you do the same thing in illuem mode you get icons overlayed (desktop 
icons)
so the illuem launcher is hardcoded, but it should not be that difficult 
to modify the code to at least disable the launcher hardcoded and use 
shr launcher.

this i just an idea i dunno if its possilbe, but i cant imagine it to be 
so difficult to accomplish.


i cannot investigate this any further, because my broadband internet 
hasn't arived yet and gprs is sloooooow.
