Hmm.   It's not impossible that it's an SD-card issue...   I am running
shr-u off flash which is fine, and the shr-testing candidate is on the sd
card.   However I used to run OM2009 TR5 off the sd card for a long time, as
well as QTEI, and I never ran into problems.

I'm travelling next week, so have no time to muck about with things, but
when life is a bit sane, I'll see if I can install a similar generation
shr-u install on my sd-card and see what happens.

I got the impression from the original post that a bunch of people were
seeing this.   Has anyone seen this behaviour *not* on an SD card?
