Hi, opimd slows dows startup of framework by a huge margin. I understand that its because of my laziness to delete any message/calls...but then should I do it, when I have enough space?
Can opimd do some sort of delay-loading? Is it there on the task list (Im fine with low-priority...as long as something is planned to be done about it) Following is a part of frameworkd.log to show the timings. 2009.10.16 12:09:01.567 opimd INFO SIM-Messages-FSO: Signal listeners about SIM status installed 2009.10.16 12:09:01.594 opimd DEBUG loading entries for backend CSV-Contacts 2009.10.16 12:09:01.650 opimd DEBUG loading entries for backend SQLite-Contacts 2009.10.16 12:09:04.529 opimd DEBUG loading entries for backend SQLite-Messages 2009.10.16 12:09:28.632 opimd DEBUG loading entries for backend SQLite-Calls 2009.10.16 12:10:10.751 opimd DEBUG loading entries for backend SQLite-Dates 2009.10.16 12:10:10.801 opimd DEBUG loading entries for backend SQLite-Notes 2009.10.16 12:10:10.853 opimd DEBUG loading entries for backend SQLite-Tasks 2009.10.16 12:10:10.902 opimd DEBUG loading entries for backend ogsmd-Calls 2009.10.16 12:10:10.961 opimd DEBUG adding object <opimd.pimd_dates.DateDomain at /org/freesmartphone/PIM/Dates at 0x40b2e330> <snip> 2009.10.16 12:10:11.173 frameworkd.subsystem INFO subsystem opimd took 71.05 seconds to startup --Vikas PS: This log is taken from frameworkd restart after bootup. I'm sure with X (and its scripts) coming up in parallel at bootup the timings would be worse.... _______________________________________________ Shr-User mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shr-project.org/mailman/listinfo/shr-user
