Mine is both on uSD with europe.bin

I'm using the same with bash wrapper say.sh 

probably not good solution performance wise to for bash/sh for every tts
output

(because sometimes I also
use text output to file in /tmp to check what navit said if I'm not sure
I understand it right - and yes.. navit talks to me in my native language
-czech :))
