Does it crash instantly, or after a while? For me, with default configuration, navit open a lot of "espeak", anf fill the process table. FR starts to lag, and finally die. Might it be also your problem? Try to disable speech... Also, I'm having a lot of trouble with full screen. gui.fullscreen doesn't work at all. If you start navit fullscreen, it crash with a single tap on the screen. So, at the moment, only solution for me is using it windowded.
